BestGore is a Canada-based gore/shock website that documents and reports on instances of extreme brutality, such as execution, brutal accidents, suicides, and much more. The site owner, Mark Marek ( sickness level:2066 ) claims it to be a "reality news" website providing "real, uncensored truth". Despite this, the site contain very little of what it advertises. Instead, most of the content consists of conspiracy theories and White Power parades, with 88% of the actual gore / violence consisting of Brazilian chimpouts. Unlike other shock sites, BestGore provides incessant tl;dr articles about the video or picture. Unfortunately nobody reads it and the comments are a shitstorm of misinformation and speculation, filled with SJW dumbasses and other alarming dimwits - much like every other site's community in existence.
BestGore was mentioned heavily in old media due to the site hosting the 1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick video and members of the site linking Luka Magnotta to the murder. The video has since been removed but the owner, Mark Marek, is now under investigation for obscenity crimes. In May 2013 a British citizen murdered a 5 year old girl. After the trial it was revealed that the murder, Mark Bridger, had viewed BestGore one time several months previously. This prompted British media attention whores to seek out and interview the sites owner. The interview can be viewed at BestGore here and the resulting article by The Sun can be viewed here.
The owner of the site is Mark Marek, a Canadian, conspiracy-obsessed idiot, Nazi white trash sympathizer and typical Alex Jones fan. He believes every possible conspiracy theory, especially ones that contradict each other. He frequently calls non-believers sheeple ignoring the fact that he is following and spreading government misinformation to hid the true secret.
He recently has got himself into hot water for hosting the 1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick video and not removing it when asked polity by the local authorities.
On July 12, 2013 he had his laptop, hard drives, video cameras and all other removable storage devices seized by a customs officer for an ongoing investigation by the Montreal Police Service.
On July 16, 2013 Mark was charged, arrested and given a $7,500 bail and the condition that he would not use the internet or have a cellphone. He paid the bail and was released on July 18th, but had his passport confiscated.
Mark breached the terms of the bail and was arrested again on July 26, 2013. Mark was released on bail again on August 1, 2013 this time set at $500. His court date is set for September 12, 2013.
