On December 2, 2016, the spirit of Donald Trump made its first great impact on America by burning down Ghost Ship, a godawful "do-it-yourself" style venue in Oakland, California, taking a whopping total of 36 hipster casualties with it. To top it all off, the surviving Ghost Ship residents were left homeless and outraged after discovering that they cannot afford to live anywhere else off of the $5 "suggested donation" fees they charge at their terrible shows. The incident also prompted a nation-wide crackdown on warehouse venues, resulting in many being shut down due to countless fire/health code violations. Much of this provoked several "artist" communities to demonstrate in protest of these attacks on their lifestyle, which only made them look even more clueless and useless than before.
